 Announcement: 4th International Workshop on Large-scale Integration of Offshore Wind Farms

Events to come20-21 October 2003, Billund, Denmark
Organized by the Royal Institute of Technology, Electric Power Systems in cooperation with the Danish network company ELTRA.

Into this fourth year, this event has developed into one of the premier conferences in its field. The workshop provides an international forum for researchers, engineers, economists and practising engineers in the fields of wind energy technologies, and transmission technologies/ systems, from around the globe to exchange knowledge and discuss their experience. The emphasis is on both theoretical discussions and practical applications.

· Experiences with large-scale integration of wind power into power systems and first offshore projects;
· Transmission - AC and DC strategies;
· Advances in on- and offshore wind energy technology;
· IT technology for an large-scale integration of wind power;
